Arabs/Muslims Must Force their Governments to Pressure the United States for a Positive Road Forward

The war crimes, ethnic cleansing and the accompanying Palestinian casualties that we are witnessing in Gaza are mounting by the day. As the war drags on, the world and especially Americans have become numb to the daily casualties that are about 70 percent women and children. While the number of casualties (about 45,000) in Gaza grab the headlines in a world that lives by soundbites, there are likely multiples of this number buried under the rubble or who have passed away from lack of food, water and simple medical care. In addition to the slaughter we are witnessing in Gaza, thousands have been killed by illegal settlers and imprisoned by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) with no formal charge in the West Bank. The full extent of the widespread horrors that are taking place have not been witnessed, because they have been hidden by Israeli censures.

There are other crimes that receive very little attention, but are just as heartbreaking. Hospitals, schools and shelters are…
