Biden of Arabia — Realpolitik or American Tragedy?

On April 1, Karen Elliott House, a distinguished winner of the Pulitzer Prize and former publisher of the WSJ, penned an opinion in the Journal, “Biden Needs to Make Up With Saudi Arabia.” As the title of the piece suggests, Ms. House is advocating for a sitting U.S. president to go to Riyadh with his tail between his legs, essentially pledging support for the atrocities of Mohammad bin Salman, the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, in return for what? For Saudi Arabia to increase its oil output in order to moderate gasoline and home heating oil prices as Russian oil is boycotted on world markets. A…
