America’s Duplicitous Foreign Policy has Consequences

Ever since the Iranian Revolution, some 40 years ago, the United States has sanctioned Iran more heavily than it has any other country, ramping sanctions up around 2008, relaxing them a little with the signing of the JCPOA in 2015; and then making them ever more severe under Trump beginning in 2018 when the US withdrew from an agreement it had signed and ratified by the UN Security Council.
